HAVE YOU EVER wondered what it’s really like to spend a week at the International Thespian Festival? Do you need help planning for your first festival visit this year?

Last summer, we asked members of Troupe 7964 at Hopewell Valley Central High School in Pennington, N.J., to give fellow Thespians an insider’s look at the annual event. Camille Ladendorf, now a senior, and her friends accepted our challenge by creating a day-by-day vlog highlighting their adventures.

IN THIS EPISODE: Thespian Troupe 7964 confronts travel hiccups on the way to Nebraska, the friends get a look at their week’s home away from home, and everyone is won over by the opening documentary, Purple Dreams.

Editor’s Note: This video series provides a glimpse of one troupe’s journey at the 2018 International Thespian Festival from a student point of view. Every student’s individual experience will vary.
